Green initiative

Our passion makes us travel all around the word to discuss and advertise science. A scientific meeting like this one in Cargèse with a hundred participants will represent thousands of cumulated miles of travel, most of them by plane. We are all aware of the toll it has on the environment. 

We believe that scientists should lead the way and actively advertise, when they can, a greener science. We propose to offset the cumulated tons of CO₂ emitted during this conference by sponsoring a green initiative. This is why part of the registration fee will correspond to a symbolic "eco-participation". 

The participants will be asked to provide their travel information in order for us to estimate the total carbon emitted for the travel to and from the conference center.
